The term 'Postal Stationery' covers a range of items:-
Postal Cards, Letter Cards, Envelopes, Pictorial Pre-stamped Envelopes, Registered Envelopes, Letter Sheets, Newspaper Wrappers and Aerogrammes.

Letter Cards.

Letter Cards were introduced in 1911 and the last was released in 1985.

Stamped Envelopes.

Pictorial Pre-stamped envelopes.

Pictorial pre-stamped envelopes were introduced on September 11th 1978
with the release of a set of 7 envelopes featuring birds on the stamp area.
As with stamps, there are definitive and commemorative issues.
Australia Post still issues PSE's as they are known
and they now form a large and varied collection.

Pre-stamped postcards.

Australia Post issued four sets of these postcards,
two sets in boxes as illustrated and two in padded sachets.

Aerogrammes.

Issued April 1st 1981, this aerogramme featured a jet in the stamp area.
